Dr. Bryan is by far one of the best doctors I have seen. He diagnosed and treated a condition other doctors had missed. His thoroughness, attention to detai, and his bedside manner are truly next to none. I spoke with a nurse at a hospital where he preforms surgery and was told he is an excellent physician who is highly respected by the hospital and his peers.
I was not pleased with Dr. Bryan at all! He was on the ENT list our pediatrician gave us, but has since been removed due to how he handled my daughter's multiple ear infections. By the time she saw him, she already had 3-5 ear infections within 6 months, which is why her doctor suggested we see an ENT to get tubes put in. Dr. Byran didn't want to rush with tubes so we tried 2 other antibiotics that never cleared up the issue for more than a week at a time. She had yet another double ear infection with a 102 fever & her pediatrician was very upset that she still didn't have tubes after seeing an ENT for 4 months through more ear infections (which is when he removed him from his ENT list) Dr. Bryan couldn't wasn't in the office to see her & "doesn't like" his patients to see the other doctor in the practice, but wanted to call in yet another antibiotic. This was not acceptable to me & I informed them that we wouldn't be returning & I'd be finding a new ENT. The staff was friendly through my clear frustration which was appreciated, but the lack of attentiveness from Dr. Bryan was very bothersome & I wish we hadn't wasted 4 months & all that money going to him. He overcharged for everything, including an extra $30 to use a scope attached to the wall that took less than 30 seconds. I would never recommend Dr. Bryan to anyone, especially for a younger child with ear issues.
Dr. Bryan and his staff are an example of how a professional physician's office should be run. Dr. Bryan is very caring and thorough and will take the time to answer questions and provide options based on the issue. My sinuses have been an issue since childhood (now 47) and moved to DFW in 2000 from Houston. He has seen both me and my son (ear tubes) since 2000 and he comes highly recommended. I have had 2 sinus surgeries by Dr. Bryan due to problems caused by a Houston ENT. Surgery is never "pushed", instead a thorough education of options is presented. The caring staff from front office to nurses have made me feel like family and been blessed to have found Dr. Bryan in 2000 and have seen him since. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Dr. Amy Mettman was great. She diagnosed treated my son with ease. Others Dr.'s had no idea what the problem was. I will go here from now on.
I have seen numerous ENTs over the years, but Dr. Bryan is truly outstanding. Many doctors spend only a few minutes with you, but Dr. Bryan takes the time to do a thorough examination and patiently answers all of your questions. I have always been fascinated by the medical profession and each time I see Dr. Bryan I come away better educated. Also Judy in the office is fantastic. My thanks to Dr. Bryan and his staff for providing great care!
Thank goodness for Dr. Patel at ENT for Children!! She got tubes the same week as seeing him & has had ZERO ear issues since then!
