This place did my kids lip and tongue tied. My babies were tongue tied and lip “twisted??”
They have incredible after care instructions & even videoed how to do the stretches for me with my cell phone so I can watch it again at home. Dr. Thomas even gives you her cell phone number if you have any questions or concerns.

My son had lip/ tongue tie, which was released by Dr. Thomas at age of 6 months old. Prior to release, my kid had severe difficulty in feeding- breast/bottle. Solids were completely unwelcomed by my little one. After being to several professionals, most of who failed to diagnose and address his problem, we met with Dr. Preetha Thomas. She was not only honest and realistic about his lip/ tongue tie, release procedure and outcomes, but she was also a guiding source and primary co-ordinator in helping us reverse the feeding issues. She helped us understand how at his age, his feeding concerns were not only from lip/tongue tie, but also learned habits due to this limitations. She explained how it was important to have thorough plan of action prior and after the procedure, including stretches, feeding/swallowing therapy and gentle body adjustment to achieve the results. She is not just a great dentist, but also a very empathetic person. She checks on these babies and parents on the day of procedure, and gives you her phone number that can be reachable 24 hrs x 7 days. I know this because I have called her in middle of the night and she was prompt and sympathetic in answering my concerns. I always felt very comfortable in approaching her, and she always came to rescue. Her empathy towards the baby, as well as the parents who have to make the tough call is commendable. If it were not for her holistic and caring approach, I don't think we would have ever been able to go through with the procedure. The results were life altering. My kid eats like a champ now, his energy levels and milestones have perked up and he has been happier than ever since he is not struggling with unsatisfied hunger, struggle eating and severe acid reflux anymore. Yes, we were able to take him off acid reflux medication since day 4 after the procedure, and his milk intake increased from 20 oz/day to 34-35 oz/day, within a month following procedure and consistent therapy. Significant reduction in gas too. I was able to address my concerns to her, as from one mother to another, and that speaks volumes about the kind of health care professional she is!
I am so grateful for the care and compassion that was shown not only to my daughter but to me while I was there. It is stressful to watch your new baby have to endure a procedure so early in her life, but knowing she was in excellent hands made it so much easier. Totally worth driving from Prosper!!!
We went to Enclave Dental just to meet the dentist and were charged $80 for a 3 minutes talk. I clearly stated that we don't want to become patients, yet, before I get a chance to talk to the doctor, and ask some general questions. I told them I don't want an exam, or x-rays, before I can ask a few questions about the way they would treat cavities in a child. They still asked me to fill in all the information, and provide my insurance details. At the end they told me they are going to charge my insurance for an office visit. But we did not get any treatment. I was humiliated, and put under a lot of stressed, just to get to meet this dentist. She clearly doesn't care about people, more then she cares about money.
I saw Dr. Thomas today with my 8-day old daughter for evaluation of a lip & tongue tie after two of my friends recommended her. Her staff was informative, compassionate & offered the best customer service I've ever received. My daughter had a 100% lip tie and her tongue tie was one of the worst Dr. Thomas has ever seen. They were both corrected immediately after the evaluation, so that we didn't have to come back. They have a special room for you to nurse the baby in after the procedure that was peaceful and accommodating.
But the doctor was amazing. They helped us in a certain predicament. And it was embarrassing but they helped us out. And I would recommend this place to ANYONE who’s kids have the same problem. They did An amazing job. And I’m thankful.
