After a second failed marriage I came to Gateway in Southlake as a very hurt, broken person. Through Freedom ministry and the Gateway Singles Adults program I've been able to heal emotionally and build a new life with other singles who share my values. The most exciting thing is I now have a solid group of mature Christian friends who are my inner circle of support, and we love doing to life together. Thank you Gateway!
I urge you to study your scripture pray earnestly that God reveal His holy truth to you. Seek God’s truth for Jesus said, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7)

No where in scripture does God tell Christians not tithing that they are arrogant and robbing Him. He does tell us, however, to beware of false prophets who because of greed would make merchandise of us. 2Peter 2:3

I attended Gateway for 6 years. I had to move within the last month and miss the atmosphere very much. I came to Gateway after years of attending churches where the law was more important than grace. Gateway teaches the truth of being under God's grace, through Jesus and the freedom that comes with belonging to Father. I have grown closer to Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit more than I realized was possible. He is a good God and through the work of the Holy Spirit, Gateway opened that reality up to me. I bless you, Gateway...in every way that Father desires to lavish his blessing on you. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen!
I also offer an open invitation to Morris and his team to debate this topic publicly. Those of us who do not believe the tithe is a requirement for Christians would like a chance to rebuke these teachings and give a fair opportunity of rebutal for teachers of tithing.
Morris's teaching that the command of tithing applies to Christians is dead wrong. Like many others, he quotes Malachi 3-4 without the context of chapters 1-2. The book of Malachi was addressing the Israelites and the priest (Chap 1-2) who were under the law of Moses. And Morris's teaching that non-titters open doors to demons is not backed by scripture.
