It's a clean place. Lots of ladies enjoying breakfast and chattering. The first place that ever served me 2 once of grits and I got satisfied. Primarily because I wasn't that hungry. It's a good place to enjoy a light breakfast on a slow day. If you need more food for your money....find another place. Good experience.
The wait at 9:30a on a Saturday was only about 10 minutes. They gave us a nice big booth. The three of us were pretty happy with the menu and found it hard to choose. The waitress was very nice and gave us free beignets for being first-timers plus brought a big sample of their City Grits. I had the kale and salmon salad (good flavor & big chunk of salmon but the dressing should have been rubbed in or tossed better - was a bit dry); my wife got the lobster and Brie omelette and was in love; my daughter got the veggie omelette with the same result. We shared a lemon, blueberry, goat cheese pancake - excellent! The place does offer alcoholic beverages so it's pretty much the perfect brunch place. There's a patio in the back but it was a bit too windy for us. We could easily talk and hear each other -- big plus!! Service was A+, food A, atmosphere A+.
What an awesome experience. I had the Monterrey Omelette and without exception it was the best omelette I have ever had. My wife had the Hey Lucy...she didn’t do a whole lotta talking during breakfast...she was in heaven. The coffee is wonderful, the water tastes filtered and on a Sunday morning at 9:45 we only waited 20 minutes. Jill, our server was superb. Exceptionally friendly, quick to fulfill our needs and just a joy. Can’t wait to come back.
Great place. Really quaint and cozy. Excellent choice for breakfast. Priced just right. Friendly service. Will definitely be back!
Amazing food and great service. I got the pancake trio with one of each pancake and it comes with eggs and sausage. I also got a side of potatoes. Would recommend breakfast here all day!
