We came for lunch on a weekday. There was no wait to be seated and got one of the beautiful window booths. I tried the basic salsa and two of their specialty sauces, both had good spiciness with a lot of flavor. The lunch serving size was perfect and I enjoyed my changa, but the brisket tacos were definitely the star!
I had one of the worst customer service experience in the recent time. The staff was extremely rude. Ended up going elsewhere. We usually go to Mi Cocina in plano and love it there . The one in Southlake was our first time and we regret it going there.

Great place. The restaurant was clean, not crowded, and pleasant. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Also, the food was great. While Mi Cocina was rather pricey, I'd still recommend it over other 'mexican' restaurants. I'll definitely go again.
In conclusion we found the service to be exceptional and the food delicious, would definitely come again if we're in the area!
Told the waitress we are vegan and ordered portabella fajitas and vegetable fajitas. She brought what looked like child portions and said the rice was not vegan and the beans were not vegan. We asked, "What can we get instead?" Salads. So, after we finished the child portions of fajitas, which were barely adequate tasting, we got small plates of chopped lettuce and finely chopped tomato. We are never going back to Mi Cocina.
